I have a GT with the active exhaust, does anyone know how much the active muffler weights? I wanna do flow master outlaw with active I’m not sure if it gonna be super loud or just a lil bit louder then the stock active mufflers, I do have a Roush x-pipe installed as well

Thanks, Jay

It will be very loud. I doubt you will lose a huge amount of weight

Probably. Borla atak exhaust is still pretty decent with the valves closed.

They are also close to like $1,500ish for a axle back. Outlaws are like $700ish

So the outlaws are gonna be on the level as the borla ataks loudness wise? What about the corsa extremes? Is that too loud compared to the outlaws?

Not sure. My guess is they are all pretty similar in loudness just different tones. For me atak/corsa extreme are way to raspy/ bass boat like. I want some growl in the exhaust and not to go deaf listening to them. I prefer a magnaflow type exhaust. Or even the stock exhaust with a h pipe resonator delete. Thats what i had and was really happy but with the catless long tubes i just installed its way to over the top now. I think im going to get a magnaflow resonator.

The Flowmasters drone heavily. The Corsa, AWE, Borlas would not.

I cut the AE mufflers off of my 2019 Bullit’s exhaust and if memory serves me correctly, they weighed around 19.4 lbs each.

I prefer a lil rasp, but not a lot. I personally like the coyotes rasp on some setups imo the extremes are a bit to raspy but they aren’t bad just rather have something a lil more tame and raspy at the same time.

Didn’t you get a error message for not having the active anymore?

But I was thinking I could just put it in quite mode when the drone starts gettin bad. Idk how much of that it would really block but maybe a decent bit. Imo I personally like drone yea I’m weird like that but I do have a limit to how much drone I want or need.

No, because I relocated the actuators to an AWE bracket and kept them plugged up to avoid the error message on the dash. I did have an error message (before relocating the actuators) at one point though and I had to fix the passenger side harness because it rubbed on the pinch weld and shorted out.
