I listed ACC as a new option, and it's also mentioned in the release.
Ah yes you're right, I read the entire press release and still missed it :frusty:

Anyway YAY for adaptive cruise control

Interesting tidbit on the press pictures: both the EcoBoost and the GT have no strut tower brace

Also confirmed by the press pictures and videos: no memory seats and no additional gauges in the center of the dashboard.

Yes, also why no BLIS? Would be cool on such a huge car. But nevertheless I think Ford really stepped up their game for the EU Model this time. On the preFL I always thought having an US Model is so much better

A US model is still better because it offers more kit plus red sequential taillights and smaller mirrors and with the digital dash you can now switch a US car to kilometers.

But the EU facelift sure is a good step forward. Can't wait to hear the prices. With the Euro/Dollar at 1.20 they should be able to keep them sharp.

Isn't it just looped around the back towards the windshield, still compliant with pedastrian safety and still provides some stiffness. Like many other EU sports cars, just look at the BMW M4, they decided to loop it towards the front so it's more visible. But it's definetly there.

Those braces are on all cars see:

The reason there is no strut tower brace probably has to do with the active hood and pedestrian protection. Supposedly there has to be a certain amount of travel between the top of the engine and the hood to comply with certain EU pedestrian safety regulations. I remember Carl Widmann talking about that in one of the videos.

That doesn't mean we can't install our own stb of course.

Well Ford knew this so wonder if the over the top brace even adds any function over the brace in the back, unless you go for the track maybe. Ofc over the top is much easier to absorb the stresses between to two struts but the way the back piece has been angled in different ways suggest it's gone through some heavy design phases to ensure it's enough.

But as a cosmetic piece it does work really well, too bad the new cover isn't as awesome as the previous, better keep that hood closed anyway :)
