Engine Strut Brace on V8 GT

Guys, does the 2016 V8 GT come with an Engine Strut brace?

I have some seen photos with it on, and some without, which is pretty confusing

I don't think the Ecoboost comes with it, but I thought that in Australia this was a standard item?

If you get the performance package in the US you get the strut bar and k brace

We are only getting the K Brace with our standard Performance Package.

Here it is you can see the black brace that goes from one strut tower to the firewall and then across to the other strut tower.

Why did they take the Strut Brace off the EU/Aussie model?

Usual excuse? (i.e. no reason, lol)

Because of the exploding bonnet pedestrian protection system. Was a European compliance thing so all export models were impacted
