Yea but don't those use a MAF sensor to measure the amount of the air the engine is consuming at different load and rpms. The PCM has to have a means to know airflow, load, rpm, TPS, ECT and numerous other parameters to function at peak performance.Plenty of centrifugal guys run a filter directly on the blower or a turbo guard. It's just fine. Doesn't slow them down at the track.
