Do I need to use a new bolt when installing it? I thought I read that somewhere but don't recall where. If so, which bolt should I get?

Yes the stock bolt is a one time only use. there was a guy on this forum who reused his original bolt and lost his freshly built motor because it came loose!

Like they said, you'll need a new bolt which is the ARP one. You'll also need a longer bolt with the same pitch to help start the damper as the new bolt and the old one for that fact won't grab enough threads to start pulling it on.

Here is one from modular motor sports which has a sale starting or some have just found some all-thread and done it that way.
