So, I have been driving around. Sometimes....the car goes a bit too fast and I'm concerned that the drive-shaft might explode, like the older models.

My question is, does this drive-shaft still have the problem that older models did?

Haven't seen anybody confirm this for sure and wanted to make sure before something does happen.

Just don't disable the speed limiter.

The V6 no longer has that issue with the driveshaft. Top speed is limited by tire speed rating (1st) and cooling capability (2nd). It has the same radiator as the base GT, so from a cooling capacity perspective it should be able to go to at least 155 mph.

I don't believe the v6 mustang has this problem anymore. I heard that ford corrected the problem starting the year after of that model that had the problem.

Your a troll! The V6 is lighter and with the new intake manifold it is faster than the GT, with bolt one its a ten second car.
Did we really have to take it that far. Ouch!
