Don't want the car built this year.

I would rather wait for my GT Premium to be built in mid January. Weather here in NJ is not the best after November and all the holiday partying should be done at Ford by then. Don't want my car put together on one of those legendary Mondays or Fridays.

Being in my mid 60s I remember the stories of cars built in the 1950s, 60s & 70s that were called Monday hangovers and that the Friday cars didn't get the best attention because of the anticipation of the weekend. I know thing are much better now but the old stories did leave an impression.

I ordered mine in June and still waiting for it, NO VIN, NO ETA, and comments like these really make me mad. :frusty:

The Monday and Friday thing is a farce in that it assumes that the entire car was built in one day. I highly highly doubt that any of the cars built will not have components and portions that were built on Mondays and Fridays. Just because your car has a build date on a Tuesday doesn't mean that nothing was done to it on Monday.
