I can’t tell if this is an atak catback chopped up or an s-type axle back just paired with the hh-pipe?

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard this same exhaust in mustangs locally, and it’s, beyond loud

Imagine a bell curve of intelligence distribution in a collection of people. A majority of folks fall into the large population in the center. You, me, your neighbor, all average folks. Then way out on the edge there are outliers like Stephen Hawking that are so remarkably smart that they are one in an exceedingly rare few. This guy is balancing out the other end of that curve. He's the Stephen Hawking of stupid.

Nobody loves a good glasspack on a V8 more than me. At least for an hour or so. It's the hollowed-out cat and turndowns right under the driver, not knowing if the clamp-together exhaust will clear the floor, scraping off the sound deadener in a "street" car, etc. that wins you the running fast nowhere award.

Besides, if you're going to glasspack something have the common courtesy to route that out to sidepipes to scare the everlasting crap outa' pedestrians on the sidewalk.

...yea, but we didn't have 4 to 500 hp stock back then.
It was all about noise and how good the car sounded, cam and all.

I can still hear the '66 Chevelle with the built 396 and a Roller cam.
Awesome, awesome sound.
You'll never get the sound like that out of one of the fart can
exhausts on these babes...................:like:

I preferred the GM factory Turbo mufflers on my Camaro with added 427 3x2 and my 63 Corvette 340hp solid lifter. The factory N1 exhaust of the C2 was essentially the GM turbo muffler.

Very little restriction unlike the bombs!
