Upgrade their battery or alternator before doing a system install. I have a GT premium and I can't find any info on an alternator upgrade, or a optima battery that would fit the car.

I don't think optima batteries will fit stock location (too tall). If you are looking for an AGM battery, I went with XS Power D1200

I have verified by email that the mechman alternator #11625250 will fit 2016 GTs.

It's the 250amp model. They also have a 370 model.
