Deceleration Gurgle and Pop

All you need is an exhaust louder than stock to hear it crackle and pop. Mine crackles and pops all the time and sounds great with my Solo Performance Axelback.

I get a bit of a pop on the Roush Axle back, stock midpipe, stock headers. Maybe not as loud or prolonged as my GTR straight piped, but its there if coming off after downshifting mid to high rpms. The crackle is definitely there though. I'd suggest a louder more free flowing exhaust setup.

Mine doesn't do. I've got the Borla S Type catback. My 13 V6 did it with Borla ATAKs. For a short while I had them welded in to my GT with a H pipe. Super loud and aggressive but still no pop or gurgle on downshifts.

w/ the borla atak, you should be getting plenty. just drive it harder? my borla sport does it plenty.

Power adders drop more fuel on a cars engine ,maybe u need a super charger

I get some gurgling right after I shift. Not much crackling or popping on decel though. Mostly a smooth rumble with gurgling. I hardly ever have the radio on because I'd rather hear that sweet exhaust.

I didn't have it with my Magnaflow Cat-Back until I installed my KB.
It sounds Mah-vel-ous

Corsa extreme with no cats will do it, I get some pops and backfires even when I up shift lol

It's in the tune. There are companies like Audi purposely add pops when shifting gears too.
Pop usually happens when decelerating with just a little throttle opened. What happen is the fuel gets sucked out of the cylinders into the exhaust pipe.

I have a Solo performance Mach IV and it gurgles a little

I have the solo street race and the gurgle is awesome and pops when shifting and about every week or so I get a extremely loud pop that has scared many people..I wish I had a camera outside my car to catch the reactions when it happens

I've just got the Borla S Type Cat back and it does it, more gurgle than pop but it seems to be getting louder now I've had it on a while, sounds a bit like a trucks exhaust brake, or jake brake as it's known in the US.
