Yup lots of people run 11's on 305 up front. It will depend on wheel offsets on if you will need a spacer or not and maybe some camber. I'm not positive on what offsets work and what doesn't, so maybe someone else can chime in. Or if you search around the threads on the wheels and tires forum you can probably find some threads with that info.

edit: also you may have a little bit of poke up front depending on the offset and camber angle too. Not a big deal to everyone especially if you like that aggressive look. But may get rock chips if you don't have some splash guards.

Could I run 19x11 in the front on 305 without rubbing?
yes, but you need 19x11-et24 wheels or 1" extended studs with a 1" slip-on spacer. If you want to do HPDE you'll need camber plates and if you run 19x11 up front you definitely want camber plates to get the wheel/tire to tuck under the fender.

But short of expert-level HPDE/Autocross 19x10 suits most folks for up front.

How big of a tire up front could I go on a 10 inch wide wheel?

285 is the recommended size. You can contort a 295 on there but it's generally not a good idea.

285/xx is the easy answer. But if you're at least semi-serious, 275/xx might be a better upper limit for 10". Tires on wheels of "measuring width" aren't quite as responsive or precise as when they're mounted on wheels a little wider than "measuring".

285/xx works rather nicely on 11" wide wheels (11" is the max-recommended wheel width for that size). See my sig pic.
