I'd be going elsewhere.

They are in their rights to control use of cameras etc. in their premises, but the whole tone of that message to me is downright nasty. They could have achieved similar with a less aggressive message. To me the whole tone speaks volumes about them.

To me when i have read it the first time it did in the informative way, but if i read it and think about it with anger and defensiveness then it just does exactly that. It's amazing how our mind's work and how you can view simple words in two different ways.

Yep, calling clients "perps" is not exactly playing nice. What do they say to each other there, "I like Frostee for being the perp who recorded us with that dash cam in his ride".

Lets break it down to the most simplistic of terms.

If you have nothing to hide / fear - What is the problem?
Otherwise, "Me thinks you protest too much"..

If they are doing the right thing, freely allowing and advertising that their work can be recorded, this is a no-brainer. It proves that they have nothing to hide, and are happy for all to witness.
Anything else.......its starting to smell.

As someone who must understand the CCTV and privacy acts, every time I hear the scream of the "It is an invasion of privacy" speech......My mind is made up then and there. Your up too no good.
This speech in my opinion, is a "GET OUT OF JAIL" free card for unscrupulous, dishonest persons and businesses whom choose to preach it.

For God sake, your toilet habits are not being recorded, just your honesty in doing what you say you will do.
