Dash Center Speaker

I'm doing the Sync 3 upgrade soon and I'm wondering that since I'll have the dash opened up, is there any real benefit to replacing the center speaker?

The center speaker definitely makes a difference but that difference is subjective. A big improvement to my stereo was to eliminate the center speaker completely. I did not like the effect unless I’m listening to a ballgame.
