Dammit, I just noticed that my seat is tearing out! Fast fun & affordable... yes... but this is one of the downsides then I guess!
That still looks good... you should see mine... After 20.000km it looks like the car's driver seat has got 200.000km on them. Even my dealer tells me it doesn't look right/good. But Ford Belgium refuses warranty on the seats.

This is why I never paid for additional warranty: they are always able to refuse warranty on everything, finding stupid excuses! :tsk:

The scary part is when you zoom in, my car was cleaned 2 weeks ago
On the other hand it's just normal tear & wear from repeated friction or pressure on the same area('s) that causes it.
I also have minor scratches but nothing you see on the spot. I also saw seats that were really destroyed, but yeah the mustang owner did not really clean his car well so I guess that was also why his seats were worn down as if he drove 100k km in it (it was 18k )

Is it worth to change rear tyres from 275 to 285 on fabric wheels?

That's crazy that Ford refuse warranty on a seat. Your car should still be under warranty and this is a warranty case ! :tsk:

John577 most manufacturer warranties wont cover "wear and tear" which covers things such as seats, brakes, clutches and so on, or there will be a shorter warranty on them than the normal 3 year car warranty.

I don't know but recommend maximum starch for fabric wheels.

Booked my car in for wrap and tint on the 18th May. So it should be all nice and ready for the Lux event the next day :)

Yeah but "normal wear" for a seat couldn't be it being destroyed at 10k km..!

With something like the seat... a rub mark or hole poked into it not warranty; but the seams popping id wouldnt just settle for a no from the dealer.

You want more rubber on the road or have the wheel stick out a little more?

I've heard that Heet triple action formula and Cramer's red hot ointment are the best.

Yeah, seats ""leather"" is really cheap..
It was even worse though with the S197s. I bought a set of take-offs from Roush for my 2011 and the auto upholstery shop that installed them said PETA must love Ford because they probably only needed one cow for the whole model year. Basically the leather equivalent of particle board.
