Complete drop in replacement solutions for speakers+sub w/ stock premium head unit?

Hey all,

So music is very important to me in my vehicle and after hearing the reviews of the shaker audio in the Ecoboost premium cars I can already tell that I will be upgrading the stock components.

My question is, what are the best options for replacement speakers, tweeters and subwoofer that do not require hacking into any harnesses or anything? I prefer punchy bass over big bass if that helps at all.

What speakers match well with the output of the stock premium myfordtouch head unit and don't require wiring in an external amplifier to obtain better sound? Or is the main problem with the audio system the head unit?

Any help, advice and recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks, I've read through that thread. A lot of people still seem to be using external amps in that thread. Any other solutions?

In my opinon. The source is ine of the main problems.

I am getting to where i will inly listen to HD radio or line in 320kb streams.

Regular fm radio and sirius are just muddeled crap.
