I washed my car today and found what appears to be peeling clear coat on my front bumper along with about 10,000 stone chips in the bumper, hood, sides of the fenders and mirror caps. Has anyone else had similar issues? Talking with a local detailer, it seems that the paint on these things isn't the greatest but I didn't expect the clear to be peeling off already. The car is black and has 24k on the clock.

EPA regs made paint super thin and/or not very durable...~10-15 years ago, your problem is nothing new or anything that any one else doesn't experience to some degree, or that most/all cars don't have.

The stone chips I can understand. Maybe not to the extent that I have, but I understand. The peeling clear coat I do not understand.
