Change tips on stock exhaust?

I dont think I am going to go aftermarket with exhaust as after driving my catless xpipe with straight through mufflers on my 2001 GT for the past 12 years, actually enjoying not really able to hear exhaust anymore.

Soo, is it possible to just buy a set of nicer looking bigger exhaust tips and have them welded in place of the stock ones or something?

I want the looks, just not the noise.

I would go with a 4" tip similar to these:

It says those are for an '11-'14 model with Roush mufflers installed (marketing spin?), but as long as the muffler pipe at the outlet matches up to the Roush tips, I would think any decent muffler shop could make them work. BTW, on the 2015 GT axle back, the Roush tips just clamp on.

Cool thank you, Do you know if the piping from the exhaust is 2.5 inches?

I had the same thought. Mainly because I'm cheap, but also not wanting to perform mods until ford tuner is released.
