Well, it sucks to do this, but....

Take caution in dealing with FFP - Function Factory Performance. I am in the middle of getting screwed. These guys have shafted me. These guys blatantly lied and misled me and suckered me into an order for the wing.

I have all the email traffic where these guys were telling me the had four in stock, bla bla bla. Tons of good, immediate communication. Order placed. Then the ghosting immediately started. I requested an order update and the responses started getting slower and slower, and I started getting the whole "next week" song and dance. This kept going and going.

After several weeks of "next week" and one final long drawn out (what seemed like total BS excuse), I was now outside my comfort and customer satisfaction zone. So on 2 Dec I cancelled my order. I got a reply on 5 Dec that my order was cancelled and to give it 2-3 business days to process the refund.

That's the last I have heard of them and no refund.

They won't reply to any email address, no FB comment, no FB messenger text, nada. Total ghosted.

The phone number on their site is a total sham and I can't find another one to try.

Anywho...I should have some protection and/or representation since I used PayPal Credit for the purchase (I've had stellar satisfaction with these guys over the years), so we'll see how it goes.

Spread the word, tread lightly, and if anyone knows another way I can contact them, please let me know.
That really suck. I have an outstanding order from them as well for a forged version of the wing. I was getting replies from Chase in early December and last I was told they had the wings at their warehouse but were waiting for powder coating on the stands and to finish their move into a new location before they’d get them shipped out. I emailed them twice in the last two weeks with no response yet. I’ll try IM again and calling and see if I get any traction.

@Evolvd yup, same BS story I got over a month ago, also dealing with Chase. Good luck man. I wish I knew of something we could get together and do about these guys, more so than just the money back; it’s principle. It’s disgusting.

Buyer beware. The carbon wing I purchased from FFP did not have a foam core and the shipping came from a different company. It came from......https://extremeonlinestore.com/

It looked good but I just don't believe their claims of 140mph+, foam core, ect.

Last photo - is the top hole threaded ?

Although no detail shots, the carbon looks good (aesthetically) :sunglasses:

According to Chase the manufacturer forgot to put foam in the last batch during construction.

You do know this company claims they make the wing too: https://extremeonlinestore.com/coll...spoiler-high-wing?_pos=1&_fid=d05d1f1a5&_ss=c

And its far cheaper than FFP, Not implying anything, but I would be skeptical considering I saw this as an alternative when I was looking until i saw it was being made with abs plastic and the flexing would terrible. I personally never trusted FFP but thats me, but when extremeonline makes the same wing for $600 in plastic and now claim they make it in carbon fiber that worries me that it came from them.

Welp at least now we know where FFP is getting their wings from and pushing it off as their own.

Yes, There was nothing on the box or in the package the it came from FFP. It came from the extremeonline as it had their stickers on the box and it shipped from northern california. FFP is based in arizona.

FYI that extreme online is a vendor on here. Might be able to get any questions answered or additional info out of them. They’re not listed in the Sponsors section for some reason but if you search them their listings show up and they’re shown as a gold sponsor. Sorry to butt in, just thought I’d mention it.

Sithiro is not what he insinuates he is in terms of his background. I wouldn't trust the guy as far as I could throw him.

So FFP lists the EOS version for a grand less than their “FFP Branded” one. I’d be asking them for a refund of the difference.
That being said, those base mounts look plastic like the ones they sell with their ABS version…are they?

I am satisfied with the quality, as for the resin finish for me the end plates had some waves not too bad that I had my detail guy smooth out before PPF. Brackets are beautiful, gloss black no issues there. Fitment is spot on and I had no issues installing. Some differences I have noticed as compared to an OEM wing are that the holes where the wing mounts to the brackets do not have the metal sleeves so you have to be careful when you tighten down on the inside as the flat washer is up against the carbon fiber as opposed to a metal sleeve like OEM. I purchased some M6 flat rubber washers to remedy this myself.

So given your experience are you satisfied with this? Been thinking about adding one to my base. I was looking into the Anderson Composites. I do like the idea of carbon trunk cover to seal the remaining holes.
