Cat Delete - Inquiry

I was looking at various posts about this and was curious if it would be cheaper to buy the cat delete pipes vs having a custom exhaust shop just weld their own SS pipe?

Any thoughts?

Cat deletes - $300

Texas Speed Headers - $600

I was literally in this exact boat a month ago. I decided to suck it up and get the headers and i'm quite glad I didn't. Your info on the left says you have a blower. If that's the case, I can't find much justification for not getting headers then. I mean they're only $600, and they're 1 7/8", are 2mm thick so they aren't tinny and raspy in the engine bay, and fit perfectly.

I have the MAK cat deletes and paid $160 to have them installed. I got a pretty good deal on the deletes. They were on sale and then got a forum discount. I probably could have put the passenger side on myself and saved a little money, but it was well worth it. The shop does excellent work.

I'm going with the MAK Cat deletes also. I have seen the $600 headers and thought they were cheap and would be very noisy or tingy.

you mean inexpensive compared to the rest (but plenty expensive) and aren't noisy or tingy.

Assumptions because something isn't overpriced are just silly.
