I can't find the specific thread talking about this my bad for bringing it up again.

The car is going in for its full/finalized dyno tune in 2 weeks (currently has headers/full exhaust) and I'm just making sure it's not worth it to get a new cai or stick with a drop-in filter and call it a day. I've read the 18+ already has a decent intake and it may be a waste to upgrade.

Thanks in advance for any opinions!

IMO keep your stock box and drop in a filter of your choice.

Stock and drop in. Flows great AND keeps iats down unlike open cai options.

Depends on your planned usage and location but the majority of the time I'd say drop in filter and call it a day.

Definitely just do the drop in filter for the best bang for buck. There are plenty of other things your money is better suited to go towards. A resonator delete or a ported manifold if you decide you'd like to tune the car. If you have any questions on mods or what all you can do, feel free to shoot me a message anytime. You'll get 100 different answers each telling you to do something different. At this point the market is flooded enough that who knows who is correct. I bought an entire system for mine and I have LTs, full 3" exhaust, and custom tune and I wouldn't change a thing. I couldn't be happier. What others choose to do with their car is their business.
