Does anyone know where the cabin air filter is located? The OM says it's behind the glovebox. I'm wondering if it's an easy enough location for me to change it on my own.

I was just looking over the maintenance schedule and it's a lot simpler than my past cars.

  • Change oil every 7500 miles or whenever the OLM says to, whichever is quicker.
  • Replace cabin air filter every 20,000 miles
  • Replace engine air filter every 30,000 miles
  • Change engine coolant after 100,000 miles, then every 50,000 after.
  • Replace spark plugs every 100,000 miles
  • Replace accessory belt every 150,000 miles
  • Replace transmission fluid ever 150,000 miles
No mention of brake fluid change intervals

From the owners manual:
Your vehicle is equipped with a cabin air
filter. It is located behind the glove box.

I'm still about 17K miles shy of needing to do it at this point. I'm guessing there is some way to drop the glove box down. My wife's old Corolla had it behind the glove box and you just pressed the sides of the glovebox in to make the tabs clear the frame/dashboard and it would fall down on the lower hinges providing access.
