Just double checked my window sticker and with dealer. He said that even though window sticker sais convoy it actually ships to Poe Va via railcar, then to my final destination via truck..... Sound right?

I know it is csx. I tried tracking my railcar number on the phone but still says no status. I wondered where in va they unload the cars. I can't find it with a general search..sounds pretty specific on location though

Only csx distributor centers I can find in va are here: http://www.csx.com/index.cfm/about-csx/company-overview/state-fact-sheets/virginia/

I have never heard of Poe va and can't find it on Google

Moved on to "In Transit". And the EDD moved back to 5/30. Not that it matters. The 31st is a Sunday so I won't get to take possession until Monday anyway! I'll check with the dealership tomorrow and see if I can get delivery info. :cheers:

Wow. My edd is still 5/29 since this morning when it changed from 6/3. Maryland eh? Not so far from me

Yeah - my family has close family friends in P-ville - pretty area. Mine is still showing 5/24. It would make sense to have ours on the same shipment - but who knows - could be dealer stock being delivered too.

Well crap. COTUS updated overnight to show my new EDD as 6/6/15. That is a Saturday. What sucks even worse is that I will be out of town for work the next week so that puts the earliest date I can take delivery at 6/13.

Mine went from 6/1 to 6/6. Uuuugh..im sure it will change again.

My EDD is bouncing all over the place too. The recent trend is in my favor going from 6/1 to 5/30 to 5/27 in as many days. How are you guys getting the transit information - is the dealer the only way to identify where the car is at any given time?

If you can get the railcar number from your dealer you can call the CSX phone number (in the COTUS sticky thread in this forum) and put in the code to find out where it was.

Having worked with the railroads some in the past and them having last upgraded railroad technology around the year 1901, THEY barely know what timezone their own equipment is in so you can't rely on the information too much.
