@GrapeApe do you have a dyno sheet handy that you can show ? You made good numbers with the whipple and meth, im curious to see how your torque is. The low end torque is obviously most of our concerns for wanting more, so Id like to compare whipple charts with procharger charts. Please and thank you !
These were actually on the whipple tune and 93 octane before the meth in a 44 degree shop. The torque curve on this chart is screwy and the shop never gave me any explanation as to why.

Is that STD ,SAE or uncorrected?

Not taking away from your car man, but either that dyno is happy or your car is an anomaly to be making that much power with the whipple tune/3.75 pulley(? 9 psi)that comes with the kit .

It’s not been replicated by any other car I have seen including the livernois tuned cars.
The lethal car made about that on e85 with more boost .
My car barely made 750 whp(STD) and that was after adding a can of boostane ... but may be mine is a dog .

SAE Corrected on the 834, and I dont know what to say besides I don't know on how or why lol. Here it is on the same setup two months later on a different Dyno. The only major difference was this was on a humid night after an hour long TX2k cruise, and they ran it with little airflow and 139 degree IATs, 794rwhp was shown onscreen then 790 is announced at the end of the video.

Wasn't the Grey Lethal car a one off custom built gen2 Whipple kit from a standard GT? I have the newer Gen3 on mine, from my understanding the Gen3 blowers have better cooling characteristics allowing them to make more power with less boost over the previous gens. Most the guys I know with boosted 350s are all in the 800+ range. I always considered my numbers par for the mods.

From what I have read, the Gen 3 Whipple does indeed make more power per boost than Gen 2. So that would explain a lot.

Hmmm.
Mine is a gen 3 head unit as well , at least that is what I ordered .
I better check to make sure that’s what I got lol.

@GrapeApe how's vibration? Any added tremors with the Whipple? I found out some info after watching some interviews and the ONLY reason Ford went with a cross plane crank on the GT500 was because they were having issues with NVH after putting the TVS on. Yes folks, a modified and strengthened Voodoo was the original plan for the GT500. :like:

The only time I hear or feel anything NVH related is in first gear under really light acceleration at or around 3500rpms. This problem was also there in stock trim, so I can’t really say the blower added to it or anything

Thanks for all the information guys.

I'm really torn between the whipple and procharger. I like the factory look of the whipple as well as the amount of HP/torque the unit generates. I don't like that you have to remove the tower brace and lower the engine.

I did talk to procharger and they said for our cars they would recommend the P1X. They informed me that if I ran 6-9lbs of boost with the D1X I most likely wouldn't be happy. They said if you want to make 900hp then go with it otherwise stay with the P1X.

I will probably do billet OPGs and TC gears - possibly LTHs.

Interesting. I am in the same boat, but i'm looking to Procharger. Same issues, lowering the engine, losing the strut brace...I am not shooting for the moon. 750~800 would be more than enough for me. I also like you can take this kit off and its no harm no foul.
