Hey all, I just picked up a 16' GT Premium with the 19x8.5 factory wheels on it. I live in Chicago so we do get pretty rough winters here, and I plan on daily driving my mustang through this winter. Im planning on picking up the new Blizzack WS90s off of tire rack, and wanted to check on sizing to see if there would be any issues as i'm completely new to the S550 platform. They offer the WS90's in either 235/50/19 or 245/45/19 (18" prices aren't much cheaper so it doesn't justify getting new wheels to me) Im thinking im going to go with the 245's but used an online calculator and did notice they are slightly taller than my factory 255/40/19 tires (Factory 27" and 245 WS90s 27.7") I'm not super good with fitment/knowing if there will be an issue. The car is on stock suspension and ride height. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated, Tire Rack says the tires "will not fit your vehicle" but i'm assuming thats just because they aren't the exact factory sizing for the 19" wheels. Lastly the 235/50/19 option is 28.3" diameter according to the calculator. Thank you so much!

No issue. GT PP rear OEM tires are 27.7" diameter (275/40/19). Only thing is your speedo will be off.

I'd strongly recommend the 245/45R19.
