I can go fast pretty well but maximizing mpg is hard to do so sometimes I try to do just that. I drive a 2017 GT with ford pp2 and this is my best. Picture was taken on the freeway between Pomona and Los Angeles in cruise control reset on the freeway with no traffic

Good for you. Maybe you should buy a Prius?

What is ford PP2? I have a ‘15 GT PP. I think once it said 23mpg on the freeway. I avg around 15-16 overall.

Nice job. I do a lot of long distance highway miles and can get 27 from Atlanta to Greenville, SC. My lifetime (18k) overall is 21.5

I see 19-21 on average. Depends on where and how I'm driving it. Mine is an automatic with 3.55's. I drive mostly town traffic with little to no hwy.
Coming from a daily driver F150 I'm thrilled with that!

No offense, but this post is useless. You showed us your car can get 31 mpg going downhill while the cruise is set at 60 mph for a 1 mile stretch. What's the point?

You won't even get that on an all highway trip. Heck, I can barely get that on an all highway trip.

You've also only driven 18 miles. Drive it about 150 then show the mpg again.

Realistic driving in the city and some highway, I average around 17.8-18.3 and that's being fairly civil with driving.

lol... if you're getting over 20MPG average on the GT, you're not doing it right.
