I think CP-e's cat-back is a full 3" and their downpipe includes adapters to both connect to the factory sized cat-back and aftermarket 3" cat-back too. Look on their website or get up with [MENTION=14142]Ron@cp-e[/MENTION].

How important is the flex joint in the downpipe? Some have it, the cheaper ones don't.

How important is the flex joint in the downpipe? Some have it, the cheaper ones don't.
We've been running one without a flex pipe in it since we purchased the car and haven't had any issues. Most aftermarket turbo kits don't use a flex joint in their DP either.
