Went out to a private track rental yesterday, best pass of the day was at 12:30pm temps were 92 degrees hot and humid.

mods are Beefcake Paxton 2200sl 3.6 pulley id1000s
Circle D 3c converter
Sai li e85 fuel system
magnaflow comp axle back only car still has Stock Headers and cats
3.15 gears
lund racing tuned was sent a revision today so excited to go back with better weather.

That is a great time. i have a very similar setup but I have longtubes and no cats on 93 and octanium. I went 10.13 at 136

I’m getting tons of false knock after the install any tips on what may be hitting? Car had no issues before with knock I even added Octanium and it’s still there.

With your paxton kit? Check intercooler piping. Could be hitting metal. There are some tight spots.

That’s what I was thinking I just really didn’t want to pull the front clip off again. Makes sense though and I appreciate it. Dasani with Lund won’t finish my tune until it’s resolved so it’s been frustrating. I was also told the Brisk plugs are garbage and to go with the NGK6510s, any truth to that?

Just pull the splash sheild off under the car. You can see pretty much all the piping. I dont even run mine anymore.

I ran my 9.3 on brisk plugs so they were fine for me. But i swapped plugs to the 6510's just to try them out. No complaints on either.

Check over the exhaust, trans mounts, Motor mounts make sure everything is tight and not rattling or vibrating excessively. Also make sure their is plenty of clearance between the piping and under body and trans mount of the car.

How much knock you getting? Can you post your log

I’m at work and no logs on my cell. The car was fine prior so no exhaust issues. Has to be Paxton related or might be the BMR stuff i added. Some suspension components were installed incorrectly at a shop so hopefully that is whats knocking. The camber arms are tagging the axels. It only knocks at intial tip in so I’m guessing it’s the piping tapping something or suspension. The shop felt bad so they are looking over everything today so I’m hoping it’s resolved soon
