I barely got tagged the other day. Luckily I was able to wipe off the black smudge and polish off a very light scratch. However, it looks like it might have given me a very small raised spot and scratch around both sides of my left reverse collision sensor.

The body shop thought they might be the attachment points for the sensor showing through as a blem from where it was made. However, none of the other sensors show them.

Do any of your cars have this?

I am anal about my paint, but something tells me a mismatch would drive me more nuts than a little spot.

Here is the sensor, but the marks aren't visible (very minor) so i marked their aproximate locations.

I would live with it if it won't buff out and look for a New Take Off one. Cheaper than body work!

I was planning on living with it, either way her insurance accepted liability so I won't bear any costs. I just don't think it is worth the bother to get fixed. Unless the paint starts peeling/cracking at some point in the future it is very minor.
