None of the movies are anything like the stories from which they take the name. They are there own thing, and take inspiration from the comics only.

Some take very little inspiration from their comic book counterparts. It's a shame, there are some truly great story lines in the comic books. I guess their twist on it sells. Didn't Infinity Wars have the highest gross on opening night and it continues to profit?

Correct. I think the biggest issue is turning a multi-arc series into a 2 to 2.5 hour movie, and without the rights to all of the characters to boot.
And, yes, it's also been the "fastest to $1 billion" world-wide. That alone, doesn't make it a good film, though I do enjoy them.

They're buying Fox, so they'll get the FF, Galactus, Silver Surfer, etc. back, as well as the X-Men. But, the deal isn't yet closed/approved and the earliest it'd be finalized is supposedly the end of the year, early next. Those characters, as of today, still can't be in each other's movies, and Fox and Marvel are making decisions as if they're separate entities for now.
