Automatic Thread Subscriptions?

Why, all of a sudden, am I being automatically subscribed to Threads in which I post? I don't want to receive all those notification e-mails, nor do I want to waste my time having to unsubscribe to every Thread when this happens.

Go to "Do not subscribe" in your options under User CP

Default subscription settings have never been changed for any user.

To change yours go to edit your options and select "Do Not Subscribe" under "Default Thread Subscription Mode"
