What did you think of the Shelby wide body? I wasn't a huge fan of the wheels but like the body. I'd pay extra for that and 335 or 345 rear tires!Same here. Not for me.
Looking at doing a Shelby wide body based on the new 2018. Should be the best of both worlds all the new tech plus the wide body with 345s in back. Im sure the new GT500 will be awesome when it eventually comes out. I just doubt it will be as aggressive looking as the Shelby WB. I just wish Ford would get off its ass and let us know something. At best it looks like a full year away or worse(2019) for the GT500. To damn long!:frusty::frusty: At least with the Shelby you can make it like you want it and not have to fight over limited numbers and ADM.What did you think of the Shelby wide body? I like it, a lot actually, but not the rear end of the car. From the rear view, the car looks "too fat", in my opinion. What did you think of the Shelby wide body? I wasn't a huge fan of the wheels but like the body. I'd pay extra for that and 335 or 345 rear tires!
Going back in time a bit here as this is one of the posts i find interesting.hmmmm....
7) Bullitt (2018)
8) Mach 1 (2019 & 2020)
9) Boss 429 (2019 & 2020)
10) Ranger Raptor (2019 redesign)
11) Fusion ST (2020 redesign)
12) Model E ST or Escape ST (2020 redesign)
If I had to guess Jim, and that is what this is,.......I'm going to say that the Mach 1 would be F/I and the Boss 429 would stay N/A.Going back in time a bit here as this is one of the posts i find interesting.
Will the FI car actually be a mach1 or the Boss 429?
We all know both cars were Na in the past, but we also know its the age of the ecoboost at ford.
I agree, but that would indicate no 500, which I thought would be surprising. If I had to guess Jim, and that is what this is,.......I'm going to say that the Mach 1 would be F/I and the Boss 429 would stay N/A.
Just my guess.
Well, they missed the 50th anniversary so there's no rush on the 500 (if ever).I agree, but that would indicate no 500, which I thought would be surprising.
Well they don't appear to be in a hurry to get any of the vehicles out! I'm thinking the Mach 1 could be an NA package, then cobra for the FI package then the boss 429. But I'm not really convinced there's three more mustangs like this for the S550 platform. They've produced 1 SE car so far and now all of sudden there's going to be 3 more in 2-3 years? Seems unlikely to me. When's the S650 platform due? 2020-2021?Well, they missed the 50th anniversary so there's no rush on the 500 (if ever).
I know the 429 and Mach 1 are both 50 for the '19 model year.
Bullet is up for '18, makes sense.
Only when Frank was behind the wheel.I too i believe there may be no GT500 in this chassis, maybe even no Cobra.
It may just be the mach 1 (force inducted) and 429 boss. The Bullit in this post makes me skeptical. The bullit never did have any kind of performance upgrades, right?
I agree that Ford may not put out a car with the GT500 name. Camaro ZL1 and Demon have raised the bar so Ford may not release something unless it can top them both. I could see them waiting until the S650 platform arrives, they have to already be well into developing the new platform. I also think the hybrid will be a performance enhancer and game changer, not just for fuel economy.I too i believe there may be no GT500 in this chassis, maybe even no Cobra.
