Why would you pay a mark up? There are hundreds of them available to order or buy at MSRP or less. I ordered mine at MSRP back in January.I was thinking about trading the charger for one - but I'm not willing to pay ADM on a non rare pickup truck.. so probably going with a Tundra at some point.
Agree with garagelogic stated... you should be able to find a msrp deal, and even if out-of-state it's still worth it IMO. I'm not taking anything away from the Tundra since it's a nice truck but having been in and driven the Tundra... my take is the Raptor is still better overall.I was thinking about trading the charger for one - but I'm not willing to pay ADM on a non rare pickup truck.. so probably going with a Tundra at some point.

My brother owns a Tundra... he bought it new in early 2016. He loves the Raptor, he's driven mine extensively and even he says it's clear there is a big difference with the sole caveat as - "the Raptor is easily better but it is more expensive."
There are/have been for a couple of weeks now 7 of them at my local dealer. I don't think this is going to be ADM situation like the GT350 was.I guess I just need to expand my search. I started 100mi radius from home on ford.com for an 801A SCAB and closest I could find is $58k MSRP (vs $54,360 as built on the website).
When I get more serious (post winter) I'll take another look and see what's out there. That Tundra is a heck of a deal, though.
If I can find one for mid 50s I'll likely jump on it. I'm not in the $70k pickup league, yet. Especially not after impulse buying this R as a father's day gift to myself lolThere are/have been for a couple of weeks now 7 of them at my local dealer. I hear yah. I like the idea of a Raptor, but it would be wasted on me. I got a new loaded 16 Lariat for a hell of a deal in January and I'm very happy with it.If I can find one for mid 50s I'll likely jump on it. I'm not in the $70k pickup league, yet. Exactly - first time I built one on Ford I threw in the 802A and everything else that caught my eye. Instantly I was turned off - +$70k!?! Then I went back and was more reasonable with my "needs" and settled on the 801A and $55k was much more appealing. I'm in no rush right now and the only reason I'd get this versus keeping the 392 is to pull the 350.. and take back the 4x4 crown from my wife's Wrangler. You guys are right... many Raptors in dealer inventory are well-optioned... highly spec'd for max profit obviously.
I special ordered my Screw ( )... and chose the only must-have options for me and my msrp still got up to $64,805... go figure.
Then again I blame the 802A option group ($9,345) for that... my others were Interior Orange Color Accent Pkg and the 17" Forged Beadlock Aluminum Wheels.
