Check this out. I think you will need to cut the base bumper and add the premium bumper and valence.

To clear something up that causes a lot of confusion.

Two rear bumper options for the GT:
Base: All one peice, all one color.
Premium: Two Peice, two colors.

Performance package has nothing to do with your rear bumper, you can have performance package on a base or a premium GT.

In order to get 99% of the aftermarket diffusers out there, you need the preimum bumper cover. If you have a base model you have two options:
1. Get a new premium bumper cover (the top piece)
2. Cut/modify your base bumper cover and hope that it fits and looks right (have not seen this done, its all hypothetical.


It sucks for Base model owners, because in order to simply change your lower diffuser, you are spending $500 on a preimum top peice, and then another $300 (estimate) for paint, and then another $700 on your diffuser ($800+ because of freight shipping), so you are at a total of $1600 + labor in order to simply change how the lower part of the back bumper looks.. which is too rich for most peoples pockets, especially base mustang owners.

We will have a installation overview coming out this week on this Diffuser. As you will see in the video; the differences between the base model and premium bumpers are beyond just a cut line. The required premium bumper has an additional support structure that receives tabs and is necessary to complete the installation. We had one customer install it on a base bumper; however he indicated he spent way more money total due to the time and fab work required by the body-shop than he would have spent buying a premium bumper.

I have a customer with one and I've seen it in person. Soo beautiful. In my opinion, one of the best CF diffusers out there for our cars right now.
