ANC and Resonator Tube

I've read the forum but I'm still curious about the ANC and resonator tube. When I got my Shelby I turned off the noise control on the car and it really made nice difference in the fake noise in the cabin. I'm curious if the ANC and the resonator in the GT do the same thing or is the ANC more of a noise reduction like the Ford Fusion? Why would Ford have to separate products that introduce fake noise into the cabin? I must be misunderstanding something.

It’s seems the only mass produced S550 Mustang with an honest engine and exhaust note was the now EOL V6 Mustang. Expect almost every performance car to mess with cabin engine noise and BMW is becoming one the worst offenders. It’s the way of the future.
