My AGS (active grill shutter) is punctured and my check engine light came on, and I’m just wondering do anyone has any suggestions on what to do. I was told I don’t need it and should just get it removed. Any ideas please

Remove them and never look back.
Unfortunately, you have to remove the front bumper cover to do this.
If you remove the motor and keep it plugged into the harness, you won't throw any codes.
