Aftermarket Seat

Anybody install an aftermarket drivers seat?

The Recaros are nice but I don't like leather seats.

Has anyone bought an aftermarket seat and installed it? Pics and what brand did you go with?

I'm looking at the microsuede Corbeau CR1's. I know there is some work with transferring the harness and tricking the airbag sensors. I've been looking for a definitive 2015 install before I tackle it. I already have a lot on my plate currently.

Looking at the CR1 also right now. Still nothing on airbag sensor?

I'll look for the discussion I found online, it was for a 2014 IIRC but should work similarly.

I believe the person moved the airbag sensor over to the new seats and used resistors to "simulate" the airbags for the computer.

at this point people might find some nice junked '15s that had Recaros and scoop em up id imagine. as an alternative

I've heard great things about Evo IX takeoffs, i wonder how hard it would be to bolt in

I'm sure some bracket work would be mandatory. I don't know how the bracket is integrated on the OEM EIX, if it allows R&R with a vehicle specific mount then it would be feasible.



A quick look on EB shows it's very possible to get vehicle specific brackets and fit the seats. Now it's up to the overall size for fit.
