Adjustable steering

I have a '16 base GT, manual tranny, 3.55 rear end. I've finally gotten around to trying out the adjustable steering. Man, what a difference Sport makes! I LOVE it! But I have a question: the manual says all it adjusts is the steering. But when I drive in sport, everything feels tighter, the shifts are smoother, the throttle seems more responsive. It is simply a better car!

So. Am I just imagining things, or does the selectable steering on Sport adjust throttle mapping as well? Remember, I have a base, and I am not playing around with drive modes . . .

Imagining things? Maybe I am. Thats why I posted - for a reality check. But OMG! What a difference!

Yes, sport mode and different mode adjust throttle and transmission shift points, etc. That is what they are meant for and do.

I am not sure about "steering" it just makes it harder/easier, it doesn't adjust the ratio though.
