Have any of you AB owners tinted windows, and/or rear lights and side reflectors? Would love to see some piccies:coolphotos:

Considering tinting Windows, maybe rear lights and also not sure what to do with side markers, I just know they look crap in orange:eyebulge:

Ah balls, I had a picture a while ago of a Facebook group guy's Blacked out stang.

80% tint on every single exteral piece of plastic... Super black!

Horses for courses but have to say that tinting everything to me just feels a bit boy racer and looks a bit cheap. Don't see many Ferraris or Aston Martin's with everything tinted. Although I'm probably wrong!

Or lowered, or with spacers, or plastic (cosmetic) scoops....

I'm Magnetic - car, not personality - and intended tinting windows and lights, changing the emblems for black, removing the rear gas cap, etc. Basically blacking the car out. Once it arrived however various bits grew on me. Did the emblems but none of that other stuff. Yet.
Its all a personal choice and the car lends itself to most mods imo. I do intend changing the sidemarkers for Diode Dynamics smoked LEDs if they ever come back into stock.

Wasn't thinking of particularly dark window tints, just a lightish tint - should help the seat leather;)

Defo need to do something to the side markers though...

For me, it's just the orange that had to go, so did front reflectors and replaced the side markers with the smoked Diode Dynamics ones (that have a red LED strip). Next step for me is to swap out the fog lights for LED units which get rid of the huge silver filament bulb reflectors. Any further 'black out' mods could easily result in a boy-racer look.

If you smoke any of the other lights, it'll effect their functionality. Also note that vinyl tints on the lights will always look 'stuck on' and I don't think they are the most robust.

Personally, I'm not a fan of aftermarket tinting of the windows for a number of reasons. You're only really supposed to tint the rear and back windows and the rear windows are tiny anyway.

How easy were the DD side markers to install?

Thanks

I've been a bit put off the side markers by the quality issues this man is having with those Diode Dynamics ones:
