6R80 Gear Shifter Paddle Hard to Engage

My upshift paddle has become difficult to get it to engage the next gear. It seemed to get worse after the swap to the GT350R steering wheel. Has this happened to anyone? The downshift paddle - I have no issue pressing it and getting it to engage.

I did a GT350 wheel on my 2017 and had no issues afterwards. Must be something jamming it up. Unfortunately might have to pull it back off, take it apart, and see whats going on.
