what you think for similar set up without headers? same type of power maybe 440 on e85?
I've got GT350 manifold, GT 350 TB , PMAS cold air intake , 47 lb injectors , 170 thermostat, catback exhaust with stock headers and cats making 444 rwhp on E85 with 385 torque rear wheel

whats up guys. just wondering what the best plan of attack would be to get my 2017 gt up to 475 whp. im new to mustangs and v8s in general (have had mine for 17 days) so i would like to hear from you guys with experience what the smart/reliable path would be. thank you in advance
stick or auto. sticks are more of a dyno queen while autos are better for racing the 1/4 mile but dont dyno as high. i prefer the auto. on my second s550 auto car. my new 2017 has the optional 3.55 gears.

I had my current setup with cat deletes instead of headers and made very similar power. You do not need headers to make over 410-420whp as claimed by someone else. I have many dyno passes on the same dyno to prove this. In my experience the headers where only worth a few hp and torque over cat deletes alone. If you are keeping your stock cats that may be a different story.

This one compares after the headers with the same tune vs a dyno tune with the headers. I also switched from a jlt intake to the pmas. Not much gained peak but under curve and torque where worth while. Notice on the same Lund tune I lost a hp and some torque after the headers and pmas intake swap. It wasn't till the dyno tune that I showed increases.

Why spend 3-4k to make 75rwhp when you can make nearly 200rwhp with a centrifugal blower for under 5k?
