I bought my 2015 Eco a little over a year and a half ago it had about 17k miles on it and Ford had already replaced the turbo found out after buying the car... I have an early production Spain motor and I recently bought the FP tune. The car now has 27k miles.

I was thinking about purchasing an extended warranty thru my credit union in case the motor decides to take a shit based on what I've read on here "speculation" I know.

The warranty will cost me roughly $1800 pretty much covering everything including electronics. My next question is if the motor does pop will there be an issue with the 3rd party warranty covering the motor with the FP tune on the car?

You would probably have to read the fine print of your "3rd party warranty". FP will cover the car until u hit 36K, but after that is totally up to the dealer u take it too, assuming your car is warrantied after 36K from the factory.
