It sounds like its coming from the plastic ring around the shifter boot. It happens under acceleration. Turning doesn't affect it.Gotta narrow this down for us. Is this coming from the engine, trans, suspension?
Does it matter if the suspension is loaded or unloaded? Does turning affect it?
I had the same thing. Check the O rings that are part of the plastic collar assembly. One of them mine was missing.Noticed while cruising though town that, in 2nd gear, it creaks bad. Happens when the RPMs are over 2500. Any ideas?
Le sigh! Mine makes all kinds of noises! I love them so much i drown them out with Sport and throttle application.ok took mine in yesterday
Transmission noise?
there is an excessive wine (vibration) in second that I dont hear in other gears
if I press the shifter to the right the noise dissapears
I can only hear it with the radio off and in normal mode
just being picky maybe
might be only related to the shifter?

road test, normal
checked all bolts for crossmember, mount bolts, shifter assembly and mounts
found a few bolts under spec for crossmember and mount, torqued all bolts to spec
inspected sifter assembly under console; ok
road test identical unsold shelby 350 (9miles ) to compare
both vehicles performed the same and the same feel in the shifter
still have the noise? particularly if I rest my hand on the shifter while in second
over all noise is lessened
note; this is specific to second
