No worries. I'm just coming up on the end of my workday so am gonna take my laptop downstairs to the garage and get a closer look at the VCM to see if there is something about an interface or something.

TDN has escalated to their level 3 engineers; they will review my LogInfo file (from the app itself) as well as my VCM Editor info. This could take a while as they tend to work on priority, complexity and available resources for that specific engineer.

At least he didn't come back and say "your Roush tune is locked". Maybe it's just they can't read the last Roush tune for whatever reason and need to build something to accomodate it.

/shrugs

We will wait and see what happens. In the mean time I'll twiddle my thumbs and work on the other car stuff I have lined up for this year.

You must use RTD flasher via pc to read when using your RTD device

Vcm editor attempting to read via rtd is. Not possible
Interesting! I’ll see if I can figure out how to read via Flasher. I see Lund has instructions on the web on how to use RTD FLASHER.

Damn man. Thanks for sharing your knowledge around this!

Interesting Derel. I have a couple Roush cars on my TDN and have not had any issues reading out a car with a Roush OS until this one. I believe my customer is going to try the flasher and see.

When a new OS is flashed in by roush many times it is not yet recognized by TDN.

In those cases RTD flasher is required and you can manually select the dropdown option to select controller TC-298 if rtd flasher does not auto detect the controller.

But yes We use TDN on most of them but 21+ is hit or miss if TDN will recognize the controller to support reading

Sounds like HP engineers need to update the app.

Nice; that seems to be working Sort of.

I'm guessing I need to select 298B for 2019+

@Wengerd Performance / @DRP Motorsports

So looks like it can read it but the hardware I pick (298 and 298B) don't work. I may need to post on their forums to identify the PCM.
