Well guys my car came in much sooner than expected so ill be picking it up in the next few days!! Wanted to see what were some of the first things people have been doing to theirs? I have the Lund Ngauge and getting the E85 tune shortly after break in. I have the active exhaust so might do a resonator delete.


CAI i hear are basically useless on these cars now with what ford has done?

My 2019 comes in mid-late August. My Ford racing X Pipe is getting delivered tomorrow lol. I'll probably install in that same week.

What package?

Simple starts are
  • Hood struts
  • Strut tower brace if non PP car
  • K-brace if not PP or 20"
  • Steeda IRS Subframe brace
  • JLT Oil Separator (just a good idea to do sooner than later)
  • Sound tube delete or on/off valve for it


Cold starts in quiet mode are still loud with an H or X pipe. So be careful if you need to keep stealth. But normal driving in Quiet mode is still quiet. Normal on up gets loud on the throttle. But no drone in any mode.

Another thing to do is keep bugging the vendors to actually make/sell 2018+ compatible parts.

I don't think Ford has done a performance package yet.

People seem to still freak out over my 2018. The last shop I went to treated me like a member of royal family.

Nice starting point.

When I put in the JLT oil separator I was surprised at how much oil was already in the hose with 2700 miles on the odometer. I think the sooner the better if you get one of those in. Other than the engine cover it's a toolless job. It helps to have a megnetic grabber for the engine cover nuts.

I installed my JLT separator without removing the engine cover. It's really easy to reach up under there to disconnect the stock and connect the separator. I put mine on at 11 miles. It was clean. I need to check it now that I'm getting close to 1,000 miles.
