My car just showed up on COTUS today, so now I have a VIN, though no production date.

Order was placed on 9/8/17

Ordered mine on August 19th. Dealer just call with a December 11th build date.

Sounds like I am about in the middle of the pack.

It does not. COTUS shows in order processing which it did not yesterday. Build date was a text from the sales guy. VIN is in COTUS; not sure how I get to window sticker from there.

Mine just showed up this morning on COTUS as well. No dates scheduled, but that should come shortly. Ordered 8/3/2017, Retail Priority 10

Update... They were looking at the wrong order. Mine is still delayed for manufacturing until 11/29/17. That means I won't likely see it until late December. :thumbdown: :rant:

I guess I need to decide if I want PP1 in orange or PP2 in red. It will only be an extra month if I go for PP2, so timing sucks either way.

Here's my 2-cents... Like others have recommended, order what you really want. Who knows what the future holds for the auto industry?
Plus, if you miss some weeks of snow, ice and salty roads while you wait, count your blessings.

Just got my VIN this morning. Literally just came in! Even though I technically went in and agreed on the order back in the middle of August the actual order wasn't accepted until 10/7. The dealer sheet says scheduled to receive 12/18. Cutting it close! I hope it makes it even before the shutdown! :cheers:

I say do it. You are already thinking about it, no reason to have any regrets, especially since it really isn't that much more cost.

(Full disclosure: I am moving your way and would like to see one in person before I order )

Yeah, I guess I will check how soon my dealer can get anything close to my car. If I can't get it soon, I will just wait for PP2.

I thought that date was scheduled a long time ago, there was a news piece a while back about plants shutting down for 2 extra weeks this year.
