Stage 1 is 775hp with 3 year powertrain warranty. Stage 3 is closer to 900HP.

The fact that Ford supports this leads me to belive there will not be a GT500.
Either that, or the GT500 will be aluminum or carbon fiber unibody with substantially lighter front and rear subframes.

I don't think he was saying Ford would cover the powertrain warranty, I'm pretty sure it would be a Whipple warranty. Nothing to do with any future Mustang OE special models.
