I'd love to wrap the roof and go...but every time I think this is a good idea, I remember my slanted driveway my regular splitter has issues with...then trying to not have nightmares finding a shop I'd trust to change out the tires. I had two turn me down when I had the 6GRs...cant imagine taking the real deal to a place here

I have a standard splitter that I will give you a good deal on. Now go buy it

Only thing I see different is that this car would be super easy to add stripes to it or wrap the roof, and you saved the $475 factory option. If I was in the market right now, I'd buy this and just add the stripes myself.

There's no turning back from Yellow though unless you do a full body wrap (which I think is around $5K+?) And for the record, I like the yellow, I just wouldn't buy it.

Black stripes and a black roof would look sweet. I was at Daytona with a guy with that combo, looked great

It's the dead of winter and it's an oddball (no stripes, no black painted roof). Whoever ordered this car was not appealing to the masses. I wouldn't use this situation as a direct indicator of where the market is at.

I recall I bought HR361 at 2k ADM. The primary reason: the color of the car. Although I think tripple yellow with stripes is a cool combination, it does not appeal to the masses. Probably the same with a white car and no stripes.

I'd buy it and get a set of big worm graphics stripes and enjoy the savings.

Your absolutely right that this car is not a direct indicator of where the market is based on the way this car was spec'd out.

For someone to suggest that if this was a new 2017 base R model and that it could be bought for $62,500 simple does not compute.

Someone should offer MSRP for this unique R color combination based on month, quarter and year end and who knows where it all ends up!

Just because it was passed around that they would take $2K over, they could have had a walk-in or someone that did not see the $2K offer and they thought they were getting a good deal at $5K over. I think it's the same reason we saw people dropping $20K over when they could be had for $10K over, some shop around, some don't care or buy on impulse.

It may have sold for more than $5K over but the last communication I had with the dealer they stated it sold for $5K over.
