Dealer called this morning and said my TY GT 350 had been accepted for production. We should have the VIN and scheduling next Thursday. BTW, if you think you've been waiting a long time, my order went in May 4. :shrug:

Yeah, I first made the agreement with my dealer in March and then the order wasn't actually accepted until August. It's been sitting as Unscheduled since then.

Does anyone know of anybody who ordered after 9/1/15 that has gotten a VIN# yet?

Placed my order in latter half of Sept. Have DORA dated 9/28 :clap2:

Hoping I'll have the car by Xmas, but don't have a VIN or build date yet.

Hey guys, new member here. Placed my order at the dealer 10/6. I was told I have to wait until ford contacts the dealer for an allocation and then they can provide me with a DORA. I found the GT350 for 5k ADM at a dealer 5 minutes from my house. I hope to have my GT350 before Christmas!

I'm a member at MSRH race track near Houston so I went with the track pack as this will see regular track use. I have a motorcycle racing background but never raced a car before, we shall see how this plays out lol.

So according to FP, any delivery dates from your dealer are wrong since they're pulling from the same system the FP guys are looking at. They said those dates are most definitely wrong and will indeed be pushed back. The only thing they could tell me is that 1: my 11/2 delivery will not happen and 2: 2015s will ship before 2016s. bleh

FP today said that the 2015's "will ship very soon" and then clarified it as "should be in a couple of weeks." I think I heard that same spiel last month too...

Makes no sense to ship a 2015 model year in 2016 or a few weeks before.. Just about ready to jump ship and go elsewhere. 2015s are where the value is really at anyways.

This always happens with a new vehicle. Back in 2006 we were doing this about the GT500, then when the Boss 302 came out, same thing. When the 50ths were built last year, everyone was uptight about delivery. Ford holds the cars for QC until they are sure all the bugs are worked out. I was told last may to expect the car late fall. I was told it would be built in July and it would take a few months until all were ready to go.
