Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but is it normal for the RPM to blip a little whenever you get off and back on the throttle? Is it just the torque converter?

Yea it matching revs of lower gear.pretty cool

Okay, thanks. I just wanted to make sure it was normal. Most of my driving is in traffic, so I am constantly on and off the throttle. I've only noticed this recently because I installed and a cat-back and can now hear the blip whenever I get back on the throttle. Even if it remains in the same gear.

Mine is also an EcoBoost with the performance package, by the way. Not a GT.
