Cracked windscreen

Been in the garage for a few days, came to it today and it has a 30 cm crack from the right of the windscreen. Ran my finger along it not even a single scratch :(

WTF! Hope your insurance covers it. Do you know if Ford have these in stock?

Well that sucks.

I copped a rock a couple of weeks back and was fortunate that it didn't leave a mark.

I have windscreen cover, but I'm pretty sure there is something in the PDS that says they can supply a non-OEM replacement.

I think the glass is very weak on this model. Was on the highway and literally saw a stone flick off the rear of the vehicle in front of me. Hit my windscreen on the lower part of the passenger side and left a very very minute chip, hardly noticeable.

Going to call the insurance tommrow and ask them about it . It really really sucks since my exhaust gets here tommrow :(

AS far as I know there are no aftermarket windows available yet, this is from O'Brien who replaced mine about a month ago with a genuine one from Ford. I know there was stock issues so hopefully thats been resolved now

Gonna call RACV and see what they say. Hopefully I can just use O'brien.

I Agree! The rear window felt like paper when I was checking if it is moving during my pre-delivery inspection today

My rear window feels fine!

Help me here - how does it feel like paper?

I have no concerns with mine

Not sure about the fastback but the convertible has no deal around the windscreen.

My screen got hit in the exact same spot started with a small mark ended up exactly the same as that.
Insurance replaced with OEM after they tried a nom genetic.
From memory Tantash had it in the same spot as well.
That's 3 I know of.
